"BIG FOOT 15"
or
2003_10_28
This picture shows
the bed of Robin.
Here
you see the board of his bed: lighting on the top, on the left the outlet for
the air heating and a small storage behind the door, in the middle a bigger
storage from the top and on the right the electric supply (12 V and
230 V) plus the control for the heating (not mounted, just the wire
reaching out).
This is a view into
the garage. It shows the storage for the chairs, table. Not finished yet, more
“boxes” for all the bit and pieces will follow.
A small detail but
it costs a lot of efforts: The bronze handles for the covers of the
“intermediate cellar”. I had to build a form, which “guided” the
drilling machine on the surface to drill out 5 mm for the correct shape of the
handles.
A view to the front
side of the control board. All the different switches have been built in.
This is a view from
the rear of the control board. As you see not all controls have been connected
yet.
Because of the
leaking tank the first cover (glued to the walls) had come off the wall. So I
took the chance to modify the entrance and made it out of wood as well.
Meanwhile the doors for the lockers are ready as well. They will be for the
shoes!
As a comparison
please look as well to "Big Foot 07", first picture.
Here you can see the seats with the
covers. My mother in law sewed them – thanks again! In the rear you see the control
board and in front the table.
This view shows the
small seat and the table again. Under the table you see a wooden part, fixed to
the wall. This is the part which hold the table if you lower it. The rear covers
of the seats fit exactly to offer another sleeping area of 120 cm x 190 cm.
Last but not least
the open storage under the board at the seats and tables for news papers, books
and all the small bits and pieces which you may need frequently.
