A happy new year to all of you interested in this homepage!

 

 

Second but last weekend nearly all missing doors have been prepared so far that I was able to paint and mount them this week. In the upper board, dividing the kitchen- from the seating-area the coffee-machine found it's place - extremely important!

 

 

The drawer of the wardrobe was finished (it is the long board between the upper and lower doors), in which the keyboard and mouse for the PC and lot of other stuff will be stored.

 

 

Unfortunately the veneer of the very left door wasn’t perfect so this one must be veneered again. But underneath you can see the blind for the PC storage. On the left is some space left for the subwoofer and most likely storage for CD’s.

 

 

The doors in front of the fridge were finished. As soon as I will have organised a sliding connection from the fridge doors to the front doors this will be complete as well. Above the microwave is a wide and broad but very narrow compartment for tablets etc..

 

 

Here you can see my wife testing if even with the not finished ladder there will be enough space left for our son to enter and leave his bed. Once the ladder will be finished it can be lifted up and pushed underneath the mattress and locked. This means whilst daytime the bottom part of the ladder will be in one line with a board in front of the mattress. 

 

 

The test of the modified seating area showed positive results!!!
